The Spanish citizens maintain an outstanding opinion of the service, ‘The Administration near you’. In particular, it reaches an average score of 4.69 out of 5 and thus consolidates, for the third consecutive year, high levels of satisfaction among the users. In addition, 96.16% of the people surveyed consider it very or quite necessary for the program to continue visiting municipalities and groups, which reflects the broad social support for this proximity initiative promoted by the Ministry of Territorial Policy and Democratic Memory. The initiative provides information, guidance and support in carrying out administrative procedures, promotes the use of digital tools such as the digital certificate and Cl@ve, and contributes to reducing the difficulties of access to public services derived from geographical distance or the digital divide. The results of the third satisfaction survey conducted among the users of the service show that the usefulness of the program continues to be widely recognized by the citizens, especially for its ability to bring the AGE closer to localities and groups with greater difficulties of access to public services.
The satisfaction survey is an action included in the Strategic Plan of the AGE in the Territory 2024-2027. The objective is to continue to know the perception of citizens about the services provided, to continue improving them. More than nine out of ten participants consider it necessary to maintain and reinforce these visits, a figure that confirms the consolidation of the program and its value as a tool of territorial cohesion. Among all the aspects evaluated, the attention given by the staff is once again the best valued element, with an average score of 4.86 out of 5. The survey also reflects the recognition of the users to the professionalism, closeness and quality of the care provided by the public employees participating in the program. According to the conclusions of the report, the 2026 edition registered 2,187 valid surveys, 12.62% more than the previous year, which confirms the growing interest in participating in the evaluation of the service. The study also highlights the extension of the scope of the program among the young population, while maintaining the majority female profile (60.40%) of the respondents. People under the age of 25 account for 28.59% of the responses, compared to 13.49% in 2025, as a result of the increase in sessions held in educational centers and other youth groups. In terms of digital administration, the survey confirms the usefulness of the visits to facilitate the knowledge of electronic tools. 98.27% of respondents consider that having a digital certificate or Cl@ve system facilitates the relationship with the Administration. On the other hand, 99.08% consider that the staff participating in the sessions helped them better understand the usefulness of these tools. Likewise, the sessions continue to play an important role in the dissemination of digital services of the Administration. ‘My Citizen Folder’ is once again the most discovered application thanks to the program. 52.19% of the participants claimed to have known it during the session, above other reference applications of the General Administration of the State.
