The Minister of Territorial Policy and Democratic Memory, Ángel Víctor Torres, has chaired, together with the First Vice-President of the Government and Minister of Finance, María Jesús Montero, the meeting of the National Commission of Local Administration (CNAL).

The representation of the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP) has been headed by its president, María José García-Pelayo.

Both the Minister and the First Vice-President of the Government and Minister of Finance have stressed that the municipalities will receive the greatest resources in their history next year, specifically, 29.246 million euros in 2026 in terms of account deliveries, which represents 8.7% more than in 2025.
