The Minister of Territorial Policy and Democratic Memory, Ángel Víctor Torres, appeared at a press conference to take stock of the agreements reached with the autonomous communities in the past months of the 15th Legislature, where he explained that 26 agreements have already been reached with the autonomous communities, “which means that on 26 occasions the recourse of unconstitutionality has been avoided.”
The minister added that “such good results have been achieved with the policy of dialogue and cooperation that we promote from the Ministry of Territorial Policy and Democratic Memory”.
The dialogue with the autonomous communities, in order to resolve jurisdictional discrepancies and avoid constitutional appeals, is established within the procedure of article 33.2 of the Organic Law of the Constitutional Court (LOTC).
