The Minister of Territorial Policy and Public Service, Carolina Darias, has met with representatives of the institutions of Tenerife, “to share with local corporations the aid that the Government of Spain has put in place to repair the damage caused by the fire in the municipalities of Santa Úrsula, La Orotava and La Guancha on February 23, 2020.”
The meeting with the president of the Cabildo, Pedro Manuel Martín, was attended, among others, by the Secretary of State for Territorial Policy and Public Function, Francisco Hernández Spínola and the government delegate in the Canary Islands, Anselmo Pestana.
The minister also went to Santa Úrsula, one of the municipalities most affected by the fires of February 2020 on the island of Tenerife. There she met with representatives of the municipal corporation and was informed of the damage recorded in the area.
