The Government has approved a Royal Decree-Law, on urgent measures in the field of teleworking in public administrations and human resources in the National Health System to deal with the health crisis caused by COVID-19, which regulates teleworking in public employment, in order to ensure its normal functioning and promote a new form of organization and structuring of work for the best service to general interests.
The objective is to set up a sufficient basic regulatory framework so that all public administrations can develop their own regulatory instruments for teleworking in their areas of competence, also considering the State competence over labour legislation in the case of labour personnel.
