The Minister of Territorial Policy and Public Service, Carolina Darias, has chaired the Sectoral Conference of Public Administration and the General Negotiating Table of Public Administrations, which have agreed the regulation of teleworking for public employees in the state, regional and local administrations.
Each public administration may establish the provision of services through this new modality, guaranteeing, in any case, direct face-to-face attention to the citizens.
The agreement on teleworking, which will be incorporated into the Basic Statute of the Public Employee, has been signed with the unions CSIF, UGT and CCOO and will be approved by the Government through a Royal Decree-Law.
