The Minister of Territorial Policy and Public Service, Carolina Darias, and the trade union representatives of the General Negotiating Table of the Public Administrations have agreed to establish a road map on public employment, establishing a work schedule to address the follow-up of the II Agreement to Improve Public Employment, the legislative modifications that may be necessary, such as the Public Service Law of the AGE or the Basic Statute of Public Employment and to explore a new agreement between the Government and trade unions, taking into account the situation generated by the COVID-19 health crisis.
Along with the minister, representing the General Administration of the State, the meeting was attended by the Secretary of State for Territorial Policy and Public Service, Francisco Hernández Spínola, the Secretary General of Public Service, Javier Rueda, and the Director General of Public Service, Isabel Borrel. The unions of the General Negotiating Committee of the Public Administrations have been represented by the Secretary General of the FSC-CCOO, José Fernández, the Secretary General of the FSP-UGT, Julio Lacorn, the President of CSIF, Miguel Borra, by CIG, Xesus Bermello and by ELA, Igor Eizaguirre.
