A total of 1,023 public employees and employees of the General State Administration (AGE) are collaborating voluntarily in areas of health, social and health and protection of vulnerable groups, invoking the 18th provision of Royal Decree-Law 11/2020, on urgent complementary measures in the social and economic field to deal with COVID-19.
Of these volunteers, the 489 public employees and employees assigned to Madrid stand out, where there are a greater number of AGE personnel, but there are also volunteers working in other territories, for example, 109 from Andalusia, 52 from the Valencian Community, 52 from Asturias, 48 from Castilla y León, 46 from Catalonia, 46 from Galicia and 42 from Aragón.
