Errenteriako konpainia historikoa da, 1868 urrunean sortua, eta paperaren ekoizpen-prozesuan abangoardian egon da, teknologiari dagokionez. Lurrun-sorgailuetatik, zentral termiko propiotik, destintatze-instalazioetatik eta kogenerazio-ekipo berrienetatik.

PAPRESA is part of the paper industry. An industry that works, from its origin, with renewable raw materials and whose products are recycled again and again. That is why it is a paradigm of the circular economy.
An important sector, whose value chain accounts for about 3% of the Spanish GDP and which has a turnover of more than 31 billion euros.
PAPRESA annually manufactures around 400,000 tons of press paper and packaging paper. To do this, it uses recovered paper and does not use chlorine in its production process. With its more than 200 jobs it is, right now, a relevant actor in its area and also a factor of development and employment in the region of Oarsoaldea.
In the paper sector, sustainability proves to be the key element, and now it is time to take a big step forward together with the Public Administrations. Thus, it will be possible to address processes of deepening the dynamics of the circular economy. A production and consumption model in which waste is transformed into resources, seeking efficiency throughout the cycle.
Eredu honetan, birziklatzeak erraz birzikla daitezkeen produktuak, jatorrizko bereiztea, lehengaia biltzeko eta tratatzeko sistema eraginkorrak, dakar berekin. Baina paradigma berri hau tradizionalki birziklatzea deitu dugunetik haratago doa, eta produkzio-ziklo osoa hartzen du: lehengai berriztagarriak, tokiko baliabideak, ekodiseinua, fabrikazio-prozesuen eraginkortasun handiena, kontsumo-eredu berriak… Baita fabrikazio-prozesuko hondakinen aprobetxamendua ere, hala nola erregaia fabrikan bertan edo inguruko industria-instalazioetan.
The Government of Spain, aware of the importance of the sector and the PAPRESA factory in particular, has always sought to accompany the company in its modernization process and adaptation to new challenges, such as that of the new water purification plant.
From the Government Delegation we have collaborated in the démarches before the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism as well as before the Ministry of Ecological Transition and the IDAE. Thus, we have been able to facilitate access to the funds of the Recovery and Resilience Transformation Plan, which have so far provided more than three million euros of subsidy and just over 13 million euros in subsidized loans.
A work and effort to contribute financial resources that extends to other industrial sectors very relevant in the economy of Gipuzkoa. This is the case of the electric vehicle with the 32.8 million destined for SAPA, the 24.2 of IRIZAR or the 8.8 of FAGOR ELECTRONICA.

A perishable and fragile material, which does not survive in humid climates beyond 200 years, but to which we have entrusted all the wisdom that we are not willing to lose. And with their help, we all continue to experience a fabulous acceleration of history, achieving more development and more progress.
On its pages we have preserved our best ideas. Without it, perhaps, we would have forgotten those Greeks who threw themselves into the experiment of collective responsibility that they called ‘democracy’. On its surface we have been able to record the findings of our ancestors thus preserving such unusual ideas in the animal kingdom as human rights, trust in science, freedom, universal health, compulsory education, the value of a fair trial and social concern for the weak.
Gaur egun, paperezko lantegi produktibo honen eraldaketak guztiok biltzen gaituela, eta teknologiak milaka urteko formatu hori, papera, baztertu nahi duela dirudien garaian, uste dut badela zerbait bere oinarrizko diseinuan eta sinpletasunean iraultza handirik behar ez duena, eta horrek esan nahi du orain bultzatzen ari garena bezalako modernizazio eta iraunkortasun ekintzekin urte askotan jarraituko duela.
