The Provincial Director of the Ministry of Education and Professional Training (MEyFP) in Melilla, Juan Ángel Berbel, has informed FP teachers from various educational centers in Melilla, will attend this Tuesday and Wednesday the “IX Alliance Forum” that is held at the Repsol Campus in Madrid.
As he explained, the delegation of Melilla will be made up of 15 people, 13 of whom are teachers of centers in the city where they currently have implanted or with an interest in implementing a cycle with Dual Professional Training, to which two representatives of the Provincial Directorate of Education must be added.
“This annual congress, co-organized by Fundación Bertelsmann and Repsol, brings together for two days authorities, organizations, social agents and national and international experts to take stock of the Dual FP model in Spain and discuss the challenges that arise in the future,” he said.
In addition, he explained that initiatives and projects already developed by companies, educational centers and institutions will also be presented as model examples of what is currently done, the role played by young people and some guidelines on the impulse needed by Dual VET to be a reality in those cities where it is beginning to be implemented.
Currently in Melilla there are three cycles with Dual FP projects already implemented, in the IES ‘Enrique Nieto’, the IES ‘Juan Antonio Fernández’ and the CIFP ‘Reina Victoria Eugenia’, although there are other centers already interested and with projects pending approval.
“The future of the new FP law is in line with the fact that Dual FP is the only option for projects and practices in companies”, he has advanced, so he has indicated that it is good news that entities and associations collaborate with the MEyFP for the implementation and realization of joint actions and share the synergies to value this new model of implementation of practices in companies, where students will be contributing to social security from the moment that the program is launched.
