The Government delegate to the Community of Madrid, Francisco Martín Aguirre, has been able to check the means at his disposal and the way in which he works at the Red Cross Operations and Digital Services Center on his visit today to the central office of the NGO in Madrid.

This centre provides follow-up, coordination and support for emergency operations; preventive services are coordinated at sporting, recreational and cultural events and patron saint’s parties; it collaborates with SUMMA 112 in the dispatch of ambulances, or provides the services of teleassistance, ATENPRO protection aimed at victims of gender violence or the line of suicide prevention, among other functions.

Francisco Martín has made the tour accompanied by the president of the Red Cross, María del Mar Pageo Giménez; the general secretary, Asunción Montero Fuentes; and the general coordinator, María Ángeles Cacereño Ibáñez, with whom he has also held a meeting to address topics of interest and review the activities developed.
