The delegate of the Government of Spain in La Rioja, Beatriz Arraiz Nalda, visited today the Office of Foreigners of the Community, in Logroño, where she has known the work that is developed in this service.
The General State Administration recently strengthened the Office for Foreigners in La Rioja with the incorporation of nine administrative and administrative offices, which will make it possible to speed up the management of files in the Autonomous Community and provide an essential service to citizens.
Six of these nine administrative and administrative staff were incorporated following the publication in the Official State Gazette on October 15, 2025 of the resolution of the Secretary of State for Civil Service, which appointed career civil servants to persons who had passed the selective process for their entry into the General Administrative Body of the State Administration, through the free entry system. In total, 40 administrative career officials were incorporated into the AGE in La Rioja in this process.
In total, 5,400 staff members have been recruited in Spain following this selective process. From the functional point of viewthe incorporation of these personnel is essential for the provision of essential public services, strengthening the offices for the care of citizens, including the Aliens Office.
Among these departments and management centers are the 774 personnel for the management of immigration files in the Delegations and Subdelegations of the Government of the Ministry of Territorial Policy and Democratic Memory.
