The General Directorate of Traffic (DGT) and the Ministry of Territorial Policy, through the General Directorate of the General Administration of the State in the Territory, have signed an action protocol for collaboration in the service The Administration near you, which aims that the citizens of rural municipalities access the digital services offered by the General Administration of the State (AGE) without having to travel.
This collaboration protocol complements and strengthens the services of attention and information to citizens of the General State Administration (AGE) in small and medium-sized municipalities of less than 8,000 inhabitants, promoting the use of electronic means, avoiding unnecessary displacements, and thus contributing to avoid the depopulation of rural areas and to sustainable development.
In particular, administrative information will be provided on the procedures of the General Directorate of Traffic. Technical assistance and support is provided to citizens for the processing of these electronic procedures:
Drivers:
− Duplicate driving licence for damage, loss or theft.
− Duplicate driving licence for data variation.
− Driver history reports.
− Change of address.
− Driving licence certificate and/or points balance.
Vehicles:
− Duplicate the driving licence for damage, loss or theft.
− Vehicle reports.
− Change of address.
− Temporary discharge.
− Notification of sale.
− Temporary discharge.
− Extension of temporary leave.
− Transfers between individuals, including agricultural vehicles
This list can be expanded according to any other need detected.
In addition, the DGT’s information campaigns aimed at the general population or specific groups will be disseminated during the Administration days near you.
The Administration service near you
Through the Administration near you initiative, public employees of the Government Delegation in La Rioja move monthly to different locations in Rioja to provide and manage procedures related to the public services of the AGE, without having to travel to Logroño. To facilitate its use, it is visited monthly on a specific day, for example, the third Wednesday of the month, making it coincide with the programming of the market and other services.
They report on the advantages of the Citizens’ File and make it easier for citizens to obtain the means of identification and digital signature - electronic certificate and cl@ve system -, which make it possible to make effective the right of access to public services anywhere in the territory without having to travel to the capitals.
They also assist the residents of the municipalities of La Rioja to process in situ their requests for the services provided by the delegation and provide personalized information on the administrative services most requested in the electronic offices of other agencies, such as Social Security procedures, Cadastre, IMSERSO travel request…
Assistance is also provided in the area of gender violence, information on vaccination is provided on international trips, the simulation of retirement is carried out or assistance is provided to carry out some personalized procedures for the assistants.
