The government delegate in Galicia, Pedro Blanco, held a working meeting this morning with representatives of the Bar Association of A Coruña, headed by its dean, Augusto Pérez-Cepeda. The secretary, José Delgado, the delegate of the College in Ribeira, María Briones, and the member of the Governing Board, María Blanco, also participated in the meeting.
During the meeting, the delegate listened to the needs and proposals of the collective and highlighted the fundamental role played by the legal profession in the defense of the rule of law. Pedro Blanco stressed that this commitment of the legal profession is fully in line with the principles defended by the Government of Spain in favor of a solid and guaranteed democracy. In addition, he conveyed his commitment to maintain a permanent channel of dialogue and collaboration with the collective.
