The government delegate in Galicia, Pedro Blanco, today highlighted the important advances of the Government of Spain “in key and essential infrastructures” for the Council of Barreiros. The delegate discussed on Monday with the mayor, Ana Ermida, and with the second deputy mayor, Carmen Veiga, the different initiatives that the Government of Spain has in place in the municipality of Marignan.
In this sense, Pedro Blanco highlighted the commitment of the Government of Spain with the neighbors and neighbors of Barreiros attending to historical demands for growth and territorial cohesion. Specifically, he highlighted the project to build the new WWTP of San Miguel de Reinante, which is being evaluated by technicians of the Ministry for Ecological Transition and Demographic Challenge, and “with which we want to give a comprehensive response to the problem of many years.”
They also addressed the improvements that the provincial back service is carrying out in the sandy areas of Barreiros, with performances on the beaches Arealonga, Sano Bartolo or Valea, among others.
In terms of roads, the delegate undertook to transfer to the Ministry of Transport and Urban Mobility the Concello’s allegations to the La-74 project, so that a link will be included that connects the Marina motorway with the Sano Cosme estate. “We work together, Government and Concello de Barreiros, on projects fundamental to the present and future of the town, which improve the quality of life of the people of Barreiros and generate new economic opportunities for the territory,” said Pedro Blanco.
