The government delegate in Galicia, Pedro Blanco, analyzed this Monday with the mayor of Cee, Margot Lamela, the current situation of the base of the heliport that Salvamento Marítima has located in Ruibo, in the parish of Lires. During the meeting, the delegate discussed with the councilor the possibilities and opportunities offered by this infrastructure for the Region and undertook to transfer these demands to the Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility to seek a solution.
On the other hand, they took the opportunity to share the progress of the projects that the Council of Cee develops with the support of the Government of Spain and that exceed 3.8 million euros in investments. They are the reform of the municipal purchase, the installation of high-tech equipment in the health system, improvements in energy efficiency and the renovation of public lighting, among others.
For the delegate of the Government the Concello de Cee “is a sign of good management and capacity, leadership by a mayor who is able to attract funds from the Recovery Plan to boost the economy, trade and tourism of the area”.
Finally, they agreed to maintain this good line of dialogue and collaboration and to continue working on projects of interest to the neighbors of Cee.
