Pedro Blanco visits the hydroelectric power station of Santiago Sil-Xares, in Vilamartín de Valdeorras (Ourense)

The delegate of the Government in Galicia, Pedro Blanco, accompanied by the subdelegate of the Government in Ourense, Eladio Santos, and the mayor of Vilamartín de Valdeorras, Enrique Álvarez, visited this morning the facilities of the Santiago Sil-Xares hydroelectric power plant, of Iberdrola. This plant came into operation in 1969, with a power of 64 MW and currently has a pumping capacity of 3,000 MWh.
