Ourense, April 5, 2024.- The subdelegate of the Government in Ourense, Emilio González, went today to the provincial commissariat of the National Police to collaborate in the delivery of Cyberexpert cards to schoolchildren in the province. The subdelegate thanked the educational centers for the interest placed in requesting these activities belonging to the master plan for the improvement of coexistence.
The deputy delegate, accompanied by the provincial commissioner, Cástor Vázquez, the chief commissioner of operation of the National Police, Nuria Palacios, made the delivery of personalized cards to children of 6th grade of primary school Maestro Vide, Divina Pasora, Salesianos María Auxiliadora and CEIP Curros Enríquez. The subdelegate congratulated these schoolchildren for their efforts to acquire knowledge in the field of education in the technological field.
Emilio González stressed that "with this program, the students of the province will be more prepared to face the risks of the internet and will know how to proceed and act in the face of a threat on the network. I would also like to stress the effort made to allow this action, which will allow them to have a more prepared student body, reducing risk behaviors and all the consequences that may arise from them."
Thus, the subdelegate has put the value of the will of the National Police body to contribute its work to all sectors of society and "provide people with tools to face situations of risk."
