Ourense, May 08, 2023.- The Deputy Delegate of the Government in Ourense, Emilio González, attended today the inauguration of the XV German Hispanic Information Days, in which for two days, Monday, May 8 and Tuesday, May 9, German and Spanish social security technicians will advise on matters of pensions to workers or pensioners.
González Afonso highlighted the value that these xornadas bring to the pensioners and immigrants of the province of Ourense; and stressed that they can be taken up again by celebrating its fifteenth edition after 3 years of stoppage due to the health crisis caused by the pandemic, the last edition was held in 2018. In this way, social security officials will serve more than 100 citizens in the next two days to report on all the legislative changes in social security and rights that took place in the German country in three years.
Experts from the Spanish Social Security and German pension agencies (Deutschen Rentenversicherungque) jointly organise fifteen international information days on Social Security, thirteen of them in Spain and another in Germany (Frankfurt) will provide free and personalized information to workers or pensioners, resident in our province, who worked in the country of Germany and is a means to improve rights to future benefits in application of European social security coordination regulations.
The three fundamental axes that will be addressed are the following: Credited contribution periods in these countries, requirements required for future pensions (age, years of contribution, etc.), and the amount of the retirement pension and solution of possible incidents in files that are currently pending resolution or finished with some detail to clarify or amend.
The advice on international remote sensing will be addressed to those who requested a “prior appointment” to attend the conference, with specialized information on future pension rights, or that allows the preparation of future files to be managed by international organizations as well as offering personalized information.
The Deputy Delegate was accompanied by the Provincial Director of the INSS, Carolina Gancedo and the organizer of the conference, Luis Antonio Iglesias at the Citizen Information and Attention Center (CAISS) that has social security in the Plaza de Eduardo Barreiros of the city where the Ourensans will be attended from 9 to 14 hours and from 16 to 18 hours second their previous appointment.
The editions prior to these information days were carried out with a high participation of citizens, more than 3,000 personalized face-to-face attentions, and with a high degree of satisfaction of the information received.
