The subdelegation of the Government in A Coruña has had four new additions since the beginning of April. These are four unemployed young people under 30 years of age who participate in the First Professional Experience in Public Administrations program.
These four young women signed a one-year internship contract with the Government Delegation to carry out their work in the subdelegation of the Government of A Coruña. During the first three months of work they will have a person, a public employee, who will guide them as a tutor and provide advice and support according to a training itinerary supervised by the SEPE (Public Employment Service). In addition, they will receive a salary according to their academic level and second the salary tables of the Administration.
The deputy delegate of the Government in A Coruña, María Rivas, held a meeting with the four young women to welcome them and get to know first-hand their impressions.
María Rivas stressed the importance of this program as it brings important benefits for both parties. On the one hand, the administration incorporates young people with professional profiles that do not exist in the workforce and with extensive knowledge in the digital field. On the other hand, the participants will achieve a professional competence that in faith will be very relevant to their future as well as acquiring knowledge and experiences in the Public Administration that can motivate them to become public employees and #public employees in the future.
“Once again, we are facing a clear example of how the Government’s Recovery Plan also reaches young people, innovates employment policies and strengthens the State Administration,” said the deputy delegate.
In this case through the program of first professional experience in public administrations managed by the Ministry of Labour through the Public Employment Service and which has 112 million euros of the Recovery Plan. A pioneering program in the public sphere that aims to hire young people, under 30 years old, unemployed, to acquire a professional experience within the public administrations.
In the case of the subdelegation of the Government of A Coruña, three of the participants will acquire competences in documentary treatment and digitization of files while the fourth will do so in public communication.
The First Professional Experience Program of the Public Administrations offers a first work experience in the Public Administrations to new unemployed people who complete their formal education. They will acquire non-technical skills and interpersonal skills by working in performances related to the dual transition, energy and digital, social assistance and territorial cohesion.
