The Delegate of the Government, Cristina Pérez, accompanied by the Superior Chief of Police, Francisco Lopez Gordo, today welcomed the 40 agents of the National Police who over the next few months are going to do the practices in our city.
These are 15 women and 25 men from the XL Promotion of the Basic Scale of the National Police Force who will serve in Ceuta and who will enhance citizen security and complement services at the border, in addition to rotating for the different services.
Cristina Pérez has encouraged them to take advantage of this year of learning in our land, “a city that will train you as policemen and will welcome you as a family”. In reference to the professional team of the Superior Police Headquarters of Ceuta, whom she has qualified as referents at the national level, the delegate of the Government has assured the new policemen in practices that “here you will learn a lot, because you are surrounded by the best”.
The representative of the Executive recalled that the National Police is one of the institutions most valued by citizens, something that, she said, “is not free, but the result of the daily work of men and women committed to security and public service.”
