Renfe awards the service of road transport between the stations of Soria and Calatayud

May 22, 2023.- Renfe has awarded the company Autocares Castilla León SA the tender to launch a road transport service between the railway stations of Soria and Calatayud by means of taxis, VTC and other vehicles of up to nine seats. The aforementioned company has been the one that has presented the best economic offer of the three that were presented to the tender and the award has been made for 50,040 euros (55,044 with taxes).

The adjudicator must guarantee the transfer of passengers from Soria to Calatayud station at 5:50 hours from Monday to Friday and at 18:30 hours from Monday to Sunday. And from the station of Calatayud to that of Soria at 8:10 from Monday to Friday and at 20:20 from Monday to Sunday.

The contract will have an execution period of 187 days and the provision of the service will be carried out from June 28 to December 31 of this 2023.

This award will allow Renfe to launch the single VTC+High Speed Train ticket for Soria passengers who want to access the Calatayud station, in Zaragoza, and link there by means of an AVE or Avlo train to destinations of the Madrid-Malaga-Barcelona corridor. And also for those who want to reach Soria through this combined modality.
