Madrid.- The Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility has litigated for 8.5 million euros (VAT included) the works to adapt to the transit of pedestrians and cyclists and improve 4.56 kilometers of the crossing of the N-502A road as it passes through the urban center of Talavera de la Reina, in the province of Toledo. The announcement will be published in the Official State Gazette (BOE).
The object of these works is to give a character and urban use to this road, between km 114,030 and 117,200 and between km 118,465 and 119,855, through humanization, calm of traffic and improvement of the functional conditions of the crossing, its objective being the integration in the urban plot of Talavera de la Reina.
Technical performance characteristics
The sections mentioned correspond to Avenida de Portugal from Calle Cosme Gómez de Tejada, to Paseo Padre Juan de Mariana, to Avenida Real Fábrica de Sedas, the Ronda del Cañillo and, already on the southern margin of the Tagus River, between the roundabout of the road of Los Navalmorales and the Southwest variant of Talavera.
The actions consist in a general nature of the renewal of everything

of the state network.
This intervention is funded through the Recovery Plan,
Transformation and Resilience (PRTR), within the program of
Humanisation of voyages, which plans to invest 105 million euros (without
VAT) to promote a more sustainable, inclusive and inclusive urban environment
