The Government Delegation in Asturias has called for a minute’s silence on the occasion of the unfortunate railway accident in Adamuz, Córdoba. The delegate of the Government, Adriana Lastra, has conveyed a message of solidarity and affection from the Government of Spain in Asturias and from the whole of Asturian society to the victims, their families and the people of Andalusia.
In the opinion of Adriana Lasta this “is a very painful moment for the whole of Spain”, at the same time she asked for prudence with the causes that have caused this railway accident, pending the investigation.
The Government delegate in Asturias wanted to thank the emergency services and the State Security Forces and Corps, in this case the Civil Guard, for their extraordinary work.
The Government Delegation in Asturias will join the official mourning that will begin at 00.00 hours on Tuesday, January 20, until 24.00 hours on Thursday, January 22, three days during which the National Flag of all public buildings and Navy ships will fly at half-mast.
In the minute of silence of the Government Delegation they were present, showing their solidarity with the victims and their families, representatives of various institutions, social agents of the Principality of Asturias and members of the State Security Forces and Corps.
