The government delegate, Delia Losa, has received a group of women from the State Security Forces and Corps as the beginning of the week of International Women’s Day, which is celebrated on March 8.
Five national police officers and five civil guards to whom the Government delegate has thanked her work and vocation of public service. Losa has stressed that the Government of Spain “unquestionably bets on equality between men and women, also in the State Security Forces and Corps”. In this regard, she has advocated that women achieve in the National Police and the Civil Guard “levels of representation similar to those that they already have in Spanish society as a whole, which wants to be at the forefront in equality policies”.
The meeting, in addition to the delegate of the Government, the Secretary General of the Delegation, Silvia Miyar, and the Deputy Secretary General of the Delegation of the Government, Andrea Pavón, have attended: by the National Police, the Chief Inspector Ana Álvarez, the Inspector Iris Rodríguez, the Deputy Inspector Eva Lodeiro, the police Noelia Yebra and Rocío Trelles; and by the Civil Guard, the Commander Olga Torralbo, the Brigade Beatriz Terrón, the Civil Sergeant and Carla Belrico.
