The Minister of Territorial Policy and Democratic Memory, Ángel Víctor Torres, today highlighted the satisfactory results that have been achieved by giving priority to dialogue with the autonomous communities to resolve competitive discrepancies: “The balance of conflict since June 2018, in which Pedro Sánchez governs, compared to the previous governments of the PP, translates into that in the last seven years the resources presented by the administrations have been 54 (in one direction and in another) compared to 124 raised in the seven years of Rajoy’s governments. Likewise, the resources presented after holding bilateral commissions, at the previous time were 114 compared to only 48 resources with the governments of Pedro Sánchez.”
Ángel Víctor Torres offered this information at the First CCAA Meeting "España 360", organized by Prensa Ibérica, in which regional representatives participated, and also highlighted the intensification in recent years of the competency development with 38 transfers since 2018, compared to only 16 in seven years of Rajoy.
“Only in the course of this legislature, with 17 transfers, have we already exceeded the number of transfers that were made in the seven years of the previous government. The criterion of this Government is clear, more autonomy is no less Spain.”
