The Secretary of State for Democratic Memory, Fernando Martínez, has chaired today, in Seville, a coordination meeting with the different administrations to advance the project of exhumation and identification of the victims who are in the Common Grave of reactionaries of the Civil War and the dictatorship, located in the cemetery of San Fernando and known as Fosa Monument. After the meeting, it has been announced that next April a protocol will be signed between the four administrations - state, regional, provincial and municipal - as a preliminary step to the work.
Martínez has been accompanied by the Deputy Delegate of the Government in Seville, Francisco Toscano, along with the President of the Deputation of Seville, Javier Fernández; the Deputy Minister of Tourism, Culture and Sport, Víctor Manuel González; and the General Coordinator of Finance and Citizen Participation of the City of Seville, Pedro Fernando Molina de los Santos.
