The State Secretary for Territorial Policy, Arcadi Spain, visits the Border Control Post of the Port of Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
During his visit he met both the workers who carry out sanitary and phytosanitary inspections and the companies in the sector.
“Many of the fruits and vegetables that we buy in our stores arrive via ports and airports, so the work that is done here is fundamental to the well-being of the citizen. We will continue to collaborate to speed up this service and guarantee the quality of the products we consume,” he said.
