The Minister of Territorial Policy and Democratic Memory, Ángel Víctor Torres, has defended dialogue “as a unique tool to make useful policy”, and has rejected that “polarization, the word chosen as the word of the year, should be installed in politics, if the ultimate goal of politics is to improve people’s lives”.
Ángel Víctor Torres, who has attended the inauguration of the new delegate of the Government in Cantabria, Eugenia Gómez de Diego, has expressed the certainty that the new delegate will strive to “maintain all the bridges built with the Cantabrian administrations, autonomous government and municipalities”.
He recalled his visit yesterday to Castro Urdiales, to emphasize that “only by understanding the reality of the local can you make country politics. I am convinced.”
