On Tuesday, the Minister of Territorial Policy and Democratic Memory, Ángel Víctor Torres, held a meeting with the President of the Spanish Committee of Representatives of People with Disabilities (CERMI), Luis Cayo Pérez. The minister stressed that this is his first meeting of the year, just as we are about to materialize the “historic change of Article 49 of the Constitution” after the agreement reached between the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, and the Popular Party: “I hope this will be a relevant symbol that there are issues on which government and opposition parties need to agree to have a better, fairer, more inclusive and equal constitutional framework.”
