The Minister of Territorial Policy and Democratic Memory, Ángel Víctor Torres, has visited in Fuencaliente, island of La Palma, the graves discovered with bodies buried in the Civil War. The first grave was discovered in 1994, being the first open in the Canary Islands, then others were opened until 2006 and 2007, exhuming 13 victims, before the approval of the Law of Historical Memory, when no public funds were available for the exhumation of victims of the dictatorship.
