The Minister of Territorial Policy and Democratic Memory, Ángel Víctor Torres, presided over the II Interministerial Commission on Immigration, in an extraordinary session that was attended by the First Vice-President and Minister of Finance, María Jesús Montero. The only item on the agenda was the proposed legislative amendment to Article 35 of the Aliens Act, in order to regulate the reception of unaccompanied foreign minors.
The meeting was attended by the holders of Social Rights, Consumption and Agenda 2030, Pablo Bustinduy; Inclusion, Social Security and Migration, Elma Saiz; and Youth and Children, Sira Rego; in addition to representatives of the ministries of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation; Interior; and Labour and Social Economy, who are native members of the same.
