The Minister of Territorial Policy and Democratic Memory, Ángel Víctor Torres, today chaired the meeting of the National Commission of Local Administration (CNAL), attended by the fourth vice-president and Minister of Finance and Public Function, María Jesús Montero, who has informed local entities that in 2024 they will receive 28.557 million euros in resources from the financing system, the largest amount in history.
Ángel Víctor Torres stressed that the meeting between the Government and the FEMP has been “very productive and has proceeded with a very good tone”, and the main information given by the fourth vice-president is that local entities in 2024 will have an increase in funding system resources of 22.6% compared to 2023. In this way, 5,260 million more will be allocated to these entities. “All the municipal representatives have valued it positively,” Torres said.
