The Minister of Territorial Policy and Spokesperson of the Government, Isabel Rodríguez, said that the Government of Spain "is sharing the management of the European Funds with both the CCAA and the City Councils and this has served to demonstrate to the delegation of the European Parliament the strengths of Spain in the deployment of the Recovery Plan".
“It has been a week to highlight that Spain was one of the countries demanding a different way out of the crisis of the pandemic, which made possible the arrival of the Recovery Funds and now we are still in the lead in the deployment of the Funds,” he added.
Isabel Rodríguez, who traveled today to L’Escala (Girona) to meet with its mayor, Josep Bofill, and visit municipal works to recover the historical heritage of Empúries and the Moll Grec, has congratulated the city council for working on “initiatives that fit perfectly with the action plans that the Government of Spain is carrying out as a result of the Recovery Plan”.
At the same time, he thanked the invitation to the mayor and pointed out that “this Government does politics from the vicinity, knowing directly the situation of each point of our country.”
