The Minister of Territorial Policy and Spokeswoman of the Government, Isabel Rodríguez, has urged the President of the Popular Party, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, to return to the Anti-Transfuguism Pact. “A few days ago he presented in his Institutional Quality Plan, which he signed in solemn solitude in the cradle of constitutionalism. It would not have been bad if, in that pact with himself of institutional quality, he had decided to return to the Anti-Transfuguism Pact,” said Rodríguez, who pointed out that this pact is “distorted if the main opposition party does not participate in it.”
Isabel Rodríguez, who answered a question from the senator of the Socialist Parliamentary Group, Antonio Magdaleno, recalled the letter that the Follow-up Commission sent to the Popular Party asking it to return to the Pact in July 2021: “We are still waiting for the main opposition party to return to this Pact.”
