The Minister of Territorial Policy and Spokeswoman of the Government, Isabel Rodríguez, today highlighted the Government’s effort to obtain European funds “that did not fall from the sky, but we have them thanks to the leadership of the President of the Government, to do what Soria does, manage them well and execute them in a positive way so that they produce a change in the economic trend, with future opportunities for all territories.”
“The effort deployed by the Spanish Government to obtain European funds is now being transformed into improving our cities and life projects,” he added.
Isabel Rodríguez, who has traveled to Soria today to meet with its mayor, Carlos Martínez, and visit municipal works financed with the recovery funds, has congratulated the City Council and the city “for anticipating the great challenges, which now leads the Government of Spain, betting on sustainability and also leading the management of European funds with a resounding success.”
The minister recalled that this week the Council of Ministers approved a project of assistance to municipalities and autonomous communities for better management of calls and supervision in the management of these funds.
