The Minister of Territorial Policy and spokeswoman for the Government, Isabel Rodríguez, has today highlighted the commitment of the Government of Spain to Vocational Training and has thanked all teachers and professors who “from public education, attend to all diversity, economic, social, physical, sensory or intellectual. This is the greatness of public education, to which the Spanish Government is committed.”
Isabel Rodríguez, after visiting the IES Giner de los Ríos in Motril (Granada), where she met with teachers and students of a higher degree of tourism, added that Spain has exceeded one million VET students, exceeding university enrolments, and it has come about because “there is a clear political will to accompany the most qualified staff and we are also doing so with the education funds due to the need to bring the most qualified staff closer to the companies”.
