The Minister of Territorial Policy, Isabel Rodríguez, has chaired the Joint Commission of Transfers Administration of the State-Autonomous Community of the Basque Country, which has agreed on the autonomous management of the Minimum Vital Income.
Isabel Rodríguez, has highlighted the will of the Government of Spain to develop to the maximum the constitutional framework and all the statutes of autonomy, “with the aim of improving people’s lives and taking on the challenges that we have before us today.”
He also stressed that the agreement “establishes the agreement by which the Basque Country assumes the management of the provision of the Minimum Vital Income, within the unitary character of the economic system of Social Security and respect for the principle of solidarity”.
