The Minister of Territorial Policy, Isabel Rodríguez, met this morning with the President of the Government of the Principality of Asturias, Adrián Barbón.
At the meeting, the minister informed the Asturian president of the possibilities that European funds provide to the Principality, as to all the autonomous communities, to promote recovery, employment, economic growth and social and territorial cohesion.
Isabel Rodríguez also explained to Adrián Barbón that the Conference of Presidents on February 25 in the island of La Palma, in addition to addressing the management of European funds, will analyze the need to promote cooperation in the face of emergencies and natural disasters, as well as the reform of the Regulation to institutionalize the Conference.
On the other hand, the Minister and the President of Asturias have addressed the bilateral issues between the Principality of Asturias and the Government of Spain, relations based on loyalty and with a positive balance within the closest collaboration and cooperation.
