The Ministry of Territorial Policy and Public Function has launched today through its social media profiles the second video of the dissemination campaign with which it intends to attract talent for the General State Administration (AGE).
El today's testimony is that of Alejandro Gómez, who belongs to the Corps of Technical Engineers of Public Works and has been working in the Ministry for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge for four years.
With this campaign, which is part of the Talent Acquisition Plan initiated in 2019, the Ministry intends to explain to young people the possibilities and opportunities offered by public employment, as well as the development of the professional career. The objective is to encourage those people who are aware of the value of public services and their contribution to the citizens to work in the General Administration of the State.
The campaign, launched on April 20, will continue in the coming weeks with the testimonies of different public employees who will show through their experience the possibilities offered by public employment, both in Spain and in official representations abroad.
The objective of the Ministry is to rejuvenate the staff of the staff working in the AGE. At the moment, the average age of public workers is 52 years. Only 12% are under 40 years old and in just over 10 years half of the workforce will be old enough to retire.
To this end, since 2019, the Ministry organizes information days in universities, professional colleges and other education centers. In addition, they value the contribution of employees and employees to society, raising awareness about the value of public services and their contribution to citizenship.
