- More than 200,000 voluntary modifications of mutualists have been registered for updating their data
- CCAA Regional Governments Plan to Vaccinate All Their Citizens, Including Mutualists
Madrid, March 12, 2021.- The General Mutuality of Civil Servants of the State (MUFACE) has sent to all the health departments of the autonomous communities the updated data of the group of mutualists attached to concerted entities.
MUFACE has no attributed competences in this regard, so in relation to the integral vaccination campaign that is being carried out in Spain the role of the Mutuality is limited to collaborating with the health authorities, providing the data of the collective. Thus, since last December, the Mutual Society has been collaborating with all the CCAA and the Ministry of Health to guarantee the access of the mutual community to vaccines in terms of equity.
Since the start of the data updating campaign in early February, more than 200,000 mutualists have made voluntary modifications to the data.
Mutualists are vaccinated according to CCAA regional planning
The vaccination against Covid-19 continues its course according to the Vaccination strategy established and agreed by the Ministry of Health and the CCAA.
The mutualists, like the rest of the population, are vaccinated according to the planning of each autonomous community, which is responsible for public health.
The technical services of the Mutual Society (Health Benefits Department) have already sent the necessary and complete information on the identity and contact of the mutualists of the agreement to the regional public health management centres, and have also sent subsequent updates as required.
Incidents have only occurred when the insertion or dumping of data, carried out by each community in its own system, has found some eventuality of a computer type, resolved with the collaboration of both parties.

Vaccination centers
As a general rule, the vaccination of concertada mutualists is carried out by the criterion of the postal address they have in MUFACE, that is, where you reside you will be vaccinated.
In the case of essential groups, such as police, teachers or prison officials, the administration of the vaccine is carried out according to the place where the workplace lies, regardless of the vaccination of the beneficiaries of each mutualist, which will take place according to the general criterion. For these groups, the data listings are being provided by the corresponding personnel service.
Guidelines for each community
Within each autonomous community, it is the public health authority that decides, according to its own organizational guidelines, whether the mutualists are vaccinated in the health centers or in certain authorized points. The vaccination process is complex and depends on the remittances of vaccines that are received.
Daily update
The provincial services of MUFACE attend daily the consultations of mutualists and the website of the Mutualidad permanently updates the section related to autonomous information.
On the other hand, MUFACE maintains permanent contact with the regional health services.
