The Secretary of State for Territorial Policy and Public Function, Francisco Hernández Spínola, has highlighted that the department’s budgets for 2021 are synthesized in the two areas of its competence: Territorial Policy and Public Service, which share structuring elements that guide all the work, for example, “the recourse to dialogue and the search for common minimums of understanding as an inherent mechanism in the decision-making process”.
“We have an adequate budget to strengthen our autonomous State and to contribute to a sustained process of modernization of public administrations,” he said.
Hernández Spínola, who defended the department’s budgets in the Senate Committee on Budgets, has pointed out the two main objectives of the 2021 PGE: overcoming the Covid-19 crisis, supporting our productive fabric and betting on innovation, ecological and digital transition and strengthening our welfare state by betting on the public.
