The Government has received the Report on the operation of the services of the General Administration of the State in the Territory for 2019, which highlights, among other data, the attention of more than 3.6 million consultations, the registration of 4 million documents and the resolution of 763,000 immigration files. In addition, the Health Inspectorate controlled 763,711 consignments in international merchandise traffic and received 303,880 kilos of drugs.
This report, which on an annual basis and according to Law 40/2015 on the Legal Regime of the Public Sector, is submitted to the Council of Ministers, reflects the size of the presence in the AGE in the Territory: 61.42% of the staff are assigned to territorial services (integrated or not), compared to 34.56% in Central Services and 4.02% in the Foreign Service.
The AGE is present in each of the 17 Government Delegations in the CAAC Regional, 2 Government Delegations in the Cities of Ceuta and Melilla, 44 Government Subdelegations in the Provinces and 7 Island Directorates.
