The Minister of Territorial Policy and Public Function, Carolina Darias, and the Minister of Health, Salvador Illa, have held the first meeting of the COVID-19 Group of coordination between the State and the Community of Madrid, together with the Vice-President of Madrid, Ignacio Aguado, and the Minister of Health, Enrique Ruiz Escudero.
This meeting, which will take place on a weekly basis, aims to coordinate and plan the response against the pandemic by the Government of Spain and the Government of the Community of Madrid. After meeting with Ayuso at the headquarters of the Community of Madrid, Sánchez stressed that the group will operate under a principle of coordination, due to the will of the Government of Spain to respect the competence of the communities.
