The IMI system does not allow administrators of an authority to directly change its official designation (they can change the unofficial designation and the long description). Changes in the official designation must be made by the validator coordinators in the authorities they have created. Therefore, when an entity changes its official name (p.ej. a change of name of a Ministry, Ministry or Sub-Directorate) should be directed to the validator coordinator (the one who has created my authority in the system) to request this modification.
