The Commissioner for the Reconstruction of La Palma, Héctor Izquierdo, has visited the fair at IFEMA Fruit Attraction, the great event of the fruit and vegetable sector, held from 30 September to 2 October in Madrid. He wanted to give his support to the primary sector of La Palma, which was so affected after the volcanic eruption of the Tajogaite.

This fair, which is an important international meeting point for professionals in this field, shows products from the palm tree field such as pitayas, avocados and bananas and studies the different ways of marketing them in the world. All the autonomous communities that produce fruit and vegetables, representatives of the fruit and vegetable sector and the industry itself and services linked to it participate.
