The inaugural table of the institutional act of presentation of the new Blue Innovation Center BIC La Palma was held at La Casa de Cultura de Los Llanos de Aridane, with the aim of promoting the novelty, sustainability and economic diversification of the development of marine-maritime sectors.
The BIC La Palma, will be able to help the arrest of young talent, investments, and European initiatives of improvement and sustainability, contributing to the development of the blue economy in La Palma, will be located in the Port of Tazacorte, composed of specialized laboratories, testing areas, coworking spaces, offices for startups, technical and scientific training rooms. The report points out the different sources of income for the future center, which will arise from services to companies, competitive R&D&I projects, training programs, etc…
