Continuing along the path of reconstruction of the island of La Palma, there has been a face-to-face and on-line meeting on employment and training plans, with representation and participation of the Canarian Government and the Central Government, respectively, Sergio J. Rodríguez Fernández, President of the Cabildo de La Palma, Gerardo Gutiérrez Adoy, Director General of SEPES, Manuel González Gómez, Mayor of Tazacorte, Eloy Martín Barreto, Mayor of El Paso, José Javier Pérez Llamas, Mayor of the Llanos de Aridane, Isabel León Villalobos, Vice-Minister of Employment of the Canarian employment service, Héctor Izquierdo Triana, Special Commissioner for the Reconstruction of the island of La Palma and Deputy José Manuel General office.
The Commissioner noted that “the employment plan in 2022 counted 63 million, to which another 30 million were added in 2023.” With the extension of the budgets, this employment aid on the Island of La Palma has been extended with another 30 million.
“We would be talking about La Palma in these three years having received 123 million euros in employment plans,” said Héctor Izquierdo Triana.
At the meeting before us, the unanimous agreement was expressed by all the parties attending, in the Employment and Training plans, in progress and in which they have also been proposed for the future.
