SCHOLARSHIPS 2024-2025

The Council of Ministers has approved the Royal Decree that will regulate the call for scholarships for the academic year 2024-2025, which will have an estimated cost of 2,535 million euros and will reach about one million students,
Among other innovations, there is the adaptation of the income thresholds that give access to this aid, which will allow the incorporation of new students into the system.
It is worth noting the additional amount per residence in La Palma from 1,600 to 2,500 euros and travel to Peninsula and the following measure is maintained by the Government in favor of La Palma:
- The aid for post-volcano reconstruction does not count to receive the state scholarship or not.
Noteworthy is the reduction in the percentage of disability from 33% to 25% for students with a specific need for educational support. This change will benefit about 20,000 students.
The government will invest 2,535 million euros, the highest amount in history.
