The new road between Tazacorte and Puerto Naos has been opened, restoring communication between north and south of the island. Since the eruption of the Cumbre Vieja volcano, on September 19 until December 13, 2021 it has remained buried by the lava. This road has a length of 3.9 Km. running between the tailings at a traverse speed of 70km/h. with a viaduct, with a sustainable design, which has been a technical, environmental, etc. challenge for the Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda.
